your pets know when there not wanted!
Even if your pet has done something to upset you, you should still keep them close to you.If your pet realises that you dislike him/her very much he/she will realise, and would quite possibly want to live somewhere else. But on the other hand you should always keep your pets close! Also if your nervous your pet would be able to sense it and would be more nervous or anxious than your are! either at you or just frightened and scared of everything.
